Scholarship Fund
The scholarship fund exceeded its goal - we raised $62,483. This fund will provide a $3,000 scholarship every year to a graduating Whitefish Bay High School student in perpetuity.
Some of Our Outstanding Athletes
Want to relive some of our past glory in sports? Check out memories of our track stars Brian Bergemann and Tom Daken below.. Feel free to suggest other memories to post here.
Brian Bergemann, class of 1962, is one of the great pole vaulters in state history. Brian set a meet record in the Suburban Indoor, Suburban Relays, State and Suburban Outdoor meets. Read details with pictures at https://baystrackhistory.blog/2019/08/21/brian-bergemann-a-reliable-boy/
In 1962 Tom Dakin set the record of 14.0 for the 120 High Hurdles. It was never close to broken and remained the State record until the switch to meters was made in 1980. “This state has not seen another hurdler like Tom Dakin. His form was perfect. There wasn’t anything that could be done to improve it.” Read details with pictures at https://baystrackhistory.blog/2020/06/10/so-just-how-good-was-tom-dakins-14-0-in-the-120-high-hurdles-in-1962/
