Click Above Link to join the Class of ’62 Campaign to augment the scholarship fund we established on our 50th anniversary in 2012. To date the fund has awarded nearly $17,000 in scholarships to 19 graduates. Now in its twelfth year, this scholarship is for seniors graduating from Whitefish Bay High School who are not necessarily at the top of their class, but who have a unique perspective – students, who have shown character, integrity, a love of learning, and an understanding that lifelong learning can enhance the greater good as well as their own lives. Awards may be used for attendance at a trade school or university in recognition of career choices in the skilled trades or professions.
We wish to raise a $62,000 corpus in order to increase our annual scholarship award to $3,000 to help offset the ever increasing cost of a college education. Our Fund is managed by the Greater Milwaukee Foundation(GMF). GMF is recognized for having organizational and financial practices that are in accordance with the National Standards for U.S. Community Foundations. The Greater Milwaukee Foundation was one of the first foundations in the country to be certified and has been in compliance with the National Standards since 2001.
