Ken Berkholtz

Kenneth (Ken) Berkholtz, 75, passed away Sunday, June 9, 2019 with family by his side in Stuart, Florida at the Treasure Coast Hospice.

He is survived by his children, Michael and Scott, three grandchildren, his brothers; Keith, Ronald, Dennis, and Kurt, his sister, Cindy Childs, his nieces and nephews, and former wives, Beth Hanna and Janice Berkholtz.

Ken was born on January 29, 1944 in Appleton, Wisconsin, to Lester and Marie Berkholtz. He was an Eagle Scout, and a graduate of Whitefish Bay High School and the University of Wisconsin, White Water.

Mr. Berkholtz lived in Stuart for almost 20 years, an area he grew to love. He moved to Stuart from Marietta, GA, where he had raised his children.

Ken was always a positive person, choosing to see the best in others. He was an avid golfer and sports fan. He loved to travel to the mountains, particularly north Georgia and the Northeast.

Mr. Berkholtz started his career briefly working for Northwestern Mutual before spending the rest of his career in the veterinary health business in sales, management, and most recently recruitment.

His family would like to thank all of the people who cared for him during his battle with Alzheimer’s, giving him the best care and making his life the best it could possibly be.

Contributions as a memorial in Ken’s name may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
