In Memory

Bob Apfelberg

Robert (Bob) Steven Apfelberg, orginally from Milwaukee and ultimately residing in Los Angeles, California, died on March 16, 2000 at age 55.

After graduating from Country Day School in 1962, Bob attended and graduated from the Wharton School of Finance and Commerce, University of Pennsylvania (Philadelphia, Pennsylvania). He received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Economics with an emphasis in business, real estate, banking finance and investments. In 1969 he received a Juris Doctor Degree from the University of Wisconsin (Madison, Wisconsin) Law School with an emphasis on business and real estate.

The details of his personal life are unavailable at this time. However, it is clear that his professional life was quite impressive.

Bob worked as managing director of Commerce Partners, Inc. and served on numerous boards of public financial institutions. Bob taught at California State University, gave countless speeches and wrote numerous published articles on business issues.

Although I was close to Bob for several years after high school graduation, we lost touch after 1964. Therefore, I would welcome anyone who wants to add comments and/or additions to Bob's "in memory" section.
